The Crackhead in the Curb: a clown-painted head with dark eye paint and a red grin, peeking up out of a storm drain

The Crackhead in the Curb

He’s hit rock bottom… literally.

He had a laptop, a paintbrush and some very big plans. Now he has a storm drain, and frankly the rent is better. The Crackhead in the Curb is the neighborhood’s newest artist-in-residence: gallery hours midnight to dawn, face paint by the gutter.

He’ll stare at your shoes. He’ll stare at your dog. Whatever you do, don’t leave your laptop near the drain.

Even the neighborhood dog isn’t sure.
